Accessibility Statement

Coplain is operated by Price Legacy Group LLC. We want coplain.com to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification, voice control, or reduced-motion settings.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across coplain.com. We do not yet claim full conformance: the known gaps are listed below.

How we test

We check key public pages (home, pricing, sign-up, tools, calculators, lessons, templates, articles, shop and contact) with automated axe-core scans in both the light and dark themes and fix every serious or critical issue they find. We also check those pages with a keyboard only.

What the site does today

• Text and links meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1 in both themes, and links inside text are underlined.
• Every page starts with a "Skip to content" link, and keyboard focus is always visible.
• Menus, the cookie settings dialog, calculators, filters and copy buttons work with a keyboard alone.
• Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked as required, and error messages are announced to screen readers.
• Animations are turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.

Known limitations

• The signed-in app (the document tools behind your account) has not had a full accessibility audit yet, so some screens may have contrast or keyboard issues.
• Downloadable PDF and PNG charts, cheat sheets and templates are not tagged for screen readers. The same information is on the matching web page as text.
• Documents that Coplain generates for you (PDF and DOCX job aids) are not yet checked against PDF/UA or tagged-PDF requirements.
• Some technical diagrams, such as GD&T and weld symbols, have short text alternatives that may not describe every detail of the drawing.
• Checkout is run by Stripe and the shop by Etsy. Their pages follow their own accessibility practices.

Response time

We reply within 2 business days. Where we can't fix the problem quickly, we will tell you when we expect to and give you the information or service another way in the meantime.
